Eleven (11, the number) is said to be the third honest number as it is two plus nine. It is the first palindrome prime number. It combines the elements of unity as it is represented by two ‘1’s and 1 more than 10, another complete and powerful number. Any power of this number (for example square or cube of 11) ends with 1, signifying unity and dominance. It has the powerful property of reading similarly, no matter whether the number is read upside down or in the right orientation.
Signifying unity and resolve, most games have teams of 11 people as well such as soccer or cricket. The number 11, when broken down as added (1+1=2), represents duality as well signifying unity even in plurality. (source)

Ok...so its one of those silly things that I do, I make a wish at 11:11. I think most people have their little superstitious rituals (hitting the car roof when running through yellow lights, flipping one cigarette upside down etc etc). 11:11 is mine.
I have very specific rules regarding my little ritual; for the whole minute I repeat my wish, without any extraneous thoughts, then as soon as the clock tick to 11:12 I stop wishing. How and why I came up with these strange rigid rules I do not know. Why I obsessively follow them, I do not know.
But tomorrow is 11/11/11, now normally November 11th is my favorite day of the year anyway (because of my strange obsession with the number 11) but this year is extra special! So, I've amplified my insanity to make tomorrow a holiday for whomever want to participate with me.
Normally on Nonmember 11th I just sort of smile to myself and make more wishes then usual, but this year is special so I've made a list of 11 things to do tomorrow to celebrate this once in a century occurrence.
11/11/11
1. Write down list of 11 wishes. At 11:11am and 11:11pm either repeat your 11 wishes over and over (or write them down and burn them just to add a flair of the dramatic)
2. Buy 11 cheap silly things that make you smile
3. Eat 11 delicious things
4. Give (at least) 11 hugs
5. Give (at least) 11 kisses
6. Listen to 11 amazing songs
7. Play outside for 11 minutes
8. Donate (at least) 11 dollars to charity
9. Compliment 11 people
10. Write a list of 11 things you love about yourself
11. Write a list of 11 people you love and tell them
