Who I want to be a vague outline:
1) Take care of the little things as they come, rather than waiting for everything to build up to an unsurpassable challenge (ie- 8 loads of laundry) take care of tasks as they arise. Such as;
o Dishes
o Trash
o Light Bulbs
o Laundry
o Correspondence
2) Don’t dress in the dark. Try to look reasonably nice every day. Wear something flattering that makes me feel good.
3) Spend time outside. If not everyday more frequently. Go for walks or just sit outside and enjoy.
4) Talk to distant friends. We don’t all live in a three block radius anymore, make a better effort to just call and catch up.
5) Spend time alone in public. Sit in a café and read or write, go out to lunch alone.
6) Be constructive when alone at home. Rather than watching 4 hours of Gilmore Girl’s, watch one and then;
o Read
o Write
o Clean
o Listen to music
o Bake
o Paint
7) Be calm. The person I would like to be can take thing in stride and handle herself.
8) Move. I’m not going to say go to the gym or run because I don’t want to set my self up to fail, but simply move, I think I can handle.
9) Eat well. Not restricting just eat food that is tasty and pretty.
10) Be where you are. So, while I am trying to improve myself I don’t want to spend my life 'buying clothes for the body I don't have yet,' I want to better myself but part of that means accepting where I am and enjoying it.
