There is that pink light
That isn’t warm
Its stretches out from the edge of the sky
Across the cold monochromatic hill side
It’s in that sharp pink dying day light
That I feel the fingers of time
Ticking up my spine
The day is gone
No stars yet
Just the strangeness of a color
We thought didn’t exist
