The fantasy of the perfect home

It would be clean in that way that there is no dust or grime from everyday life. However, there would be books left open everywhere, cups of coffee almost drained, shoes piling up in the entry way, sweaters available on every arm chair in case of chills .
But since all of our objects are works of art it wouldn’t matter that my coat is draped over the railing because it is beautiful there.
It will be open enough for dance moves and deep breaths and hurried exits, but it will be full enough to stay warm with a low thermostat. There will be every color, not monochromatic and modern like a museum. The colorless walls of museums are to draw attention to the art, my home will be all art. From the handmade valentines to the store bought paper plates, the art is in the living.
If you live walking in beauty your inner life will warm the walls of your home and color every object you touch. It doesn’t matter if you pick your flowers from the yard and put them in an old jar, or if you buy a thing you can’t afford because it touched some place in you with its simplicity. Those things you select are a reflection of you.
I want a home so lovingly made that each object is a fractal of your greater happiness.
