20 Days

I have from December 17^th through January 5^th off. As I look out over those 20 days of library-less-ness I feel both excited and terrified. I do not want to spend 20 days in bed watching Star Trek…I swear there is a large part of me that does not want to spend those 20days in bed (the small part of me that does just needs to shut the fuck up!) I want to be productive so here is the unavoidable…

20 Day’s of Vacation To Do List!

Go through clothes, shoes and purses and give to charity anything that is; torn, painty, too big, too small or still has the tags on it.

Go through books and donate anything that I can bare to part with. (understand that this may only be one book [no books])

Rip room apart and put it all back together.

Clean out car, including a vacuum and a car wash.

Read/ finishing reading all the Thích Nhat Hanh books.

Go skiing with Jamie.

Don’t die while skiing with Jamie.

Go to Cape Cod.

Write up student comments for poetry class and email them to Maud.

Plan poetry activities for poetry month.

Pay speeding ticket!

Order more contacts.

Make/ have appointment with endocrinologist. (blech)

This is just a basic list. Really all I want is to be productive over my 20 day break. I mean a few days of lethargy is fine, but over all I want to be active, or at least mildly productive.
